But there's nothing fun or happy about this friday for after the weekends, the term tests come.

Term Test Timetable is out!

But TP's Student login is now FUBAR. I've tried logging in a few times, but each time it just said "Invalid userid and/or password"

But posted on TP's Website is an announcement to check the Term Test Timetable, which is accessible from here.

Based on my Timetable:

• Emaths is on Monday
• FACOM on Tuesday
• INTROCA on Wednesday
• PRNASC on Friday

One more reminder, there will be a Listening Test on Thursday for EFFCOM, which would make up 15% of the grade for that module. The test would start at 10am, so try not to be late :D

Okay, some changes to our class blog:

1) Tagboard code has been updated. The previous code had some error, that's why if you post something you have to refresh multiple times. And sometimes I even end up spamming the tagboard hehe. So yea, hopefully no more errors.

2) Imeem is faulty, so new playlist already! Suggestions for songs, please tell us in class or something.

3) The useless column on the right last time has been replaced with an update column. Check it out for homework and assignment duedates. (Other authors, you have to go to the template to edit it. Please don't mess up the template though!)

4) The new version of TP's student portal doesn't allow me to sign in, so how? Anyone who has figured that out, must share kay. I feel super helpless without the portal.

Hey guys, update okay. Since there's no EFFCOM tomorrow, those who want can meet and have breakfast together.

Persis and some others are going to Mac's to buy food before meeting us. So those who want Macdonalds (hotcakes are heavenly!) can go along with them. Whereas the rest of us are going to Business School's canteen for brekkie. It's wallet and budget friendly :)

Macdonald's: 9.30am at the bus stop opposite school.
Biz Park: 10.00am at the engine school entrance.

So do text us if you're coming along or going to be late. Wouldn't want to miss any one of you guys out!

and let's be frank about it,
some of us click, some of us don't.
if we can click, good for us.

well, if we've got anything thats bugging us real bad,

Due to the confusion caused by the wordy post, I just summarize and just post what I hope we all can do.

I HOPE EVERYONE CAN PLAY A PART IN MAKING THE CLASS A BETTER PLACE, A FAMILY, NOT JUST A PLACE TO SCORE, TO BE THE TOP DOG. P903 IS A FAMILY WE ARE GOING TO SPEND OUR 3 LONG YEARS WITH, SO THINK ABOUT IT.


For those who STILL haven't activated their TP email address yet, there was an email sent that informs all of us to bring our thermometers on monday and onwards for temperature taking. All with fever, 37C for mouth and 37.5C for ear i think, will be sent home or to the doctors...so yeah..if you have fever maybe you shouldn't come...

FYI I need to collect birthdays so I'll appreciate it if you could get everyone in class to sms me their birthdate or give it to me in an offline msn message...I'll try to get a cake or get my mum to make one...donations appreciate :P..kidding..anyway..just posting this to procrastinate on doing my WRTORAL, its soooooooooooooooo frustrating...

BTW I'm probably not going to e able to make it for the movie but I'll try to make it at least for the lunch:)

We are organizing our first Europe study trip to Germany and France for the coming term break in June, and would like to extend invitation to all TP Engineering students. The first three days will be hosted by FESTO, a world renowned automation solution company. We will visit some world-class manufacturing factories and technical centers, including Mercedes Benz Museum, Ritter Sport Museum (Chocolate factory) and Hochschule Esslingen University at Stuttgart. We then will continue our journey to Paris, capital of France, spending the next few days in Disneyland Europe and Paris.

Germany is well known for its excellence in Engineering. In this trip, you will witness how German engineers and students put their passions and dreams into reality. We will take a good stroll into the medieval town of Stuttgart, which was built as far back as the 1st century AD.

Paris, the City of Lights, it is probably the most romantic place on earth. Some landmarks like Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Champs Elysees are not to be missed. Most importantly, Paris is the birthplace for big brand like Chanel and Louis Vuitton, and not forgetting Mona Lisa too!

The trip is planned (tentative, depending on available flights) from 8 Jun, 09 (leaving Singapore) to 16 Jun, 09 (arriving Singapore).
The trip cost is estimated to be around S$2,988 (Air-fare, airport tax, all accommodation in hotels, city tour in Paris, some food and transportation.).

The following pertinent points are to be noted:

1) Need registration with me, Mr. Foo Ming Fenn (mingnfenn@tp.edu.sg) or Mdm. Christina Ng (leesiam@tp.edu.sg).

2) An initial deposit of S$1000.00 is to be paid upon confirmation of registration. Cancellation charges apply.

3) Any special request on food, like vegetarian or halal, needed to be pre-arranged.

4) The trip is scheduled during June two-week term break. It is summer in Europe, good and warm weather!

5) Visa might be needed for International Students.

6) Please check if you have PSEA (formerly Edusave) money that you can use. Parents or account holders can call the PSEA Phone Enquiry System at Tel. 6260 0777 to check the latest balance by following the instructions given over the phone. Please check this early so that you can apply for re-imbursement at the point of registration. PSEA reimbursement will come after the trip so you have to make full payment first if you are confirmed going.

Please register early by submitting your name and contact number by email to any of the two lecturers above. Upon registering, a formal application form will be given to you. Closing date of for formal registration is 8 May 2009.

Good news for the current in-house SIP-MP students, your internship term break coincides with this study trip. So, you are welcome to join us too.
